Steuben County Is the seventh largest of the 57 counties. With
elevations from 714 to 2400 feet above sea level. The landscape is rolling Plateau cut by
numerous streams and some valleys with steep sides that are as much as 600 feet deep. The
landscape is dominated by farms and woodlands and has great scenic charm.
Great for fishing
Lake Keuka, Lake Demmons, Almond Lake, Loon Lake, Goodhue Lake, and Waneta Lake. The Conhocton river, Canisteo
river, Chemung river, Tioga river, and Cold Brook.
