Pulteney is located in the Northeastern part of Steuben County with
it's eastern border on Keuka Lake. Pulteney was formed from Bath in February 1808 and was
named in honor of Sir William Johnstone Pulteney. There are many cabins and homes along
the lake, vineyards on the slopes, and farms and country homes on the higher levels above
the lake. This is a beautiful place to visit, come visit one of the wineries or just enjoy
the scenic views.
