Bath is located in the Conhocton Valley at exits 38 and 39 on route 17 of the Southern Tier expressway. Bath is the Steuben County seat, founded in 1793 and named for Lady Bath of England. Pulteney Park was the first clearing in the county. Bath is the home of the annual Steuben County Fair, the oldest continuous fair in the nation. The Bath VA Medical Center, Historical Museum & National Cemetery. With relics dating from the Revolutionary War to present.
