Greenwood, New York

Greenwood is located on Rt 248 in the western part of Steuben County.
Greenwood was formed in January 24, 1827. The highest point New York State highway system sign was located on top of Greenwood hill, what now is state Route 417. The First gas well drilled on state land is located west of Greenwood.
