This thing he invented was suppose to be an improvement in potato diggers and the wheel is horizontal, not vertical, like the Saltsman digger but level to the ground. What is very interesting with this particular thing when Keeler did make a digger at the time he still did not lay it down on the ground, it is still vertical, very similar to the Saltsman digger(see picture).




Next picture I have here is very fragile, showing some of the gears, and pillar blocks and other things for an other Saltsman potato digger.
