The Village of Atlanta is located in the township of Cohocton
ATLANTA and North Cohocton are
Nestled together near the intersection of Routes 21 .& 371, this area was once known
as a railroad center and still is active in potato shipping, in addition to providing
activities for tourists. The North Cohocton - Atlanta area was the first settlement in the
Town of Cohocton and the whole northern portion of Steuben County.
